Master Promissory NoteBefore your loan application can be approved and depending upon which program you select, we may request certification from your college or university confirming your eligibility for the loan amount requested. In most cases, your school will determine the amount and for what academic terms you are eligible. Apply Online or Download a FormThe quickest way to submit a loan application is to complete the process online and use an electronic signature. You may choose to complete the application online, then print, sign (in ink), and mail the application/promissory note to GSFC. It is also possible to download most loan applications for printing at home. You may then use the paper version as a work copy or as the original for you to complete and mail. Each loan program that offers this option will have a Download Form button at the bottom of the loan's description page. Click the button to download the application with your browser's Adobe Reader™ plug-in. Your student loan may be sold. Student loans are sold for a number of reasons, including to raise funds to make additional student loans. Generally, if your loan is sold, your borrower benefits will remain the same. In addition, unless you are notified otherwise, the contact information for servicing your loans will remain the same. If you need additional information, please contact your lender directly. |
