APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION

Application Information

A message from the campus:

FALL 2010 IMPORTANT NOTICE

If you intend to participate in the ROTC military program, the application deadline for Fall 2010 is July 1, 2010.

--------------------------------------------------------

If you DO NOT intend to participate in the ROTC military program:

We will extend the July 1 deadline until we meet capacity for the following applicants who will  Not participate in the ROTC military program, meet North Georgia's residence policy and will live OFF campus (commuting students) :

  • Students transferring with 30 or more semester hours of transferable college credit
  • Former students returning to North Georgia
  • Transient students
  • Students with a baccalaureate degree that transfers to North Georgia
  • Non-degree students

We have met capacity for these students who are Not participating in the ROTC military program: freshmen, joint-enrolled students, students transferring with less than 30 semester hours of transferable college credit or students wanting to live on campus.  As a result, we are no longer able to accept these students for the Fall 2010 semester.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Students are encouraged to apply for admission and send in supporting documents as early as possible.  Due to course and/or housing availability, we cannot guarantee admission for the term in which a student wishes to enroll.  Once university capacity for a term has been reached, we will no longer be able to accept students for that term.

The following links outline the supporting documentation required by each application type.  All documentation should be official and sent directly from the appropriate institution or testing agency. Faxes and unsealed copies of documentation are not considered official.

Upon notification of acceptance, a $200 confirmation deposit is required of all new students not participating in the Corps of Cadets and a $250 housing deposit is required of all resident students.

APPLICATION DEADLINES

Applicants must submit a completed application, a non-refundable $30 application fee and all appropriate supporting documentation, including transcripts, by the application deadline to the appropriate office listed below. Because the online application requres submission of the $30 fee, applicants who have an SAT or ACT fee waiver form must print, complete and mail North Georgia's Application for Undergraduate Admissions with the waiver form.
